Located in a renovated historic building in the popular Spittelberg quarter, this elegant 4-star boutique hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Museum Quarter. It offers free WiFi and air-conditioned rooms. All rooms at the Altstadt Vienna are individually decorated and equipped with classic or modern furniture. They feature cable TV, parquet floors, and a mini-bar. A varied breakfast buffet is served in the Red Salon. I have stayed here before and I love it every time! All areas of the hotel full of art, great breakfast and the location in my favorite district
This time it felt fuller then before… But I think it is because it has more rooms now. But it is still great just more people around :)

Wow, the hotel is situated in an old mansions which has been reconstructed in such a way that it still has the atmosphere of the past. The room is really beautiful and spacious. Nice breakfast and thee with cake in the afternoon. Extremely friendly personnel. At last, Neubau great area to stroll around.

Our third time staying at the Altstadt and we love it. It’s in a fun neighborhood but close to the major museums. The rooms are unique. The art is very interesting. The staff is great. Breakfast is vast and delicious. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you!

The artwork, the beautiful stairway, the great breakfast, sofa in the room, High ceiling with drapery, open windows. Good location.
The “tea” in the afternoon was a bit of a disappointment. Not worth getting back to the hotel for. We didn’t get all the weird candy.

A wonderfully creative atmosphere with good art all around. But the atmosphere was very cozy and the staff were very warm and welcoming. The heated floor in the bathroom was also a nice touch during my early March visit
My room had a very comfortable chair and footstool that would have been great for reading if it had had a lamp beside it.

These suites are very spacious and individually furnished. the bösendorfer suite comes with an original grand piano, and the felix suite designed by matteo thun featuring a free-standing bathtub. moreover there are two apartment-suites, which are equipped with a kitchenette and a separate living room. all suites have parquet floors and high ceilings, city or courtyard views, design bluetooth speakers and a coffee machine. the design bathroom has both a shower and a bath. if booked for 3 people, the third person sleeps on a high-quality sofa bed or roll-away bed.
