Located in a renovated historic building in the popular Spittelberg quarter, this elegant 4-star boutique hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Museum Quarter. It offers free WiFi and air-conditioned rooms. All rooms at the Altstadt Vienna are individually decorated and equipped with classic or modern furniture. They feature cable TV, parquet floors, and a mini-bar. A varied breakfast buffet is served in the Red Salon. This place was very special to us. It was a feel like home experience. Colorful decoration, the saloon with piano play on Saturday, tea time every afternoon and super friendly caring staff. And a new day could not start with a more enjoyable breakfast ! A safe and outstanding place to be. For a next return to Vienna we will choose this hotel again for sure.

I have stayed here before and I love it every time! All areas of the hotel full of art, great breakfast and the location in my favorite district
This time it felt fuller then before… But I think it is because it has more rooms now. But it is still great just more people around :)

Wow, the hotel is situated in an old mansions which has been reconstructed in such a way that it still has the atmosphere of the past. The room is really beautiful and spacious. Nice breakfast and thee with cake in the afternoon. Extremely friendly personnel. At last, Neubau great area to stroll around.

Our third time staying at the Altstadt and we love it. It’s in a fun neighborhood but close to the major museums. The rooms are unique. The art is very interesting. The staff is great. Breakfast is vast and delicious. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you!
