This is my third time staying here. The location is perfect; it is close to restaurants, the Fußgänger, and other key attractions. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They have always been exceptional. They are the reason I stay here whenever I come through Wien.
It takes a while for the hot water to reach the room. I never figured out how to use just the reading light by the bed. These are minor things.

Anna was friendly, funny, and made sure our check-in went smoothly. We appreciated the hotel storing our luggage in a secure room as we arrived from Salzburg before check-in time. The hotel isn't as close to the main attractions of Vienna (or the U-Bahn) as others, but it is close to a tram station. Our room was clean and comfortable, and room service was attentive but not intrusive. It's clear that guest services are a priority for the hotel, and we frequently passed people in the lobby who were chatting with hotel staff and enjoying the amenities of the hotel lounge and game room.
The hotel's location made it somewhat of a chore to get to and from the train station, as it's about a 10-minute walk on mostly uneven cobblestone streets to reach the bus line that goes directly to the Hauptbahnhof, and about the same to get to the nearest U-Bahn station. It also wasn't quite as convenient to Vienna's many museums and cultural sites as we would have preferred. Despite that, the hotel is fairly expensive, and for what we paid, the size of our room and particularly the rather spartan bathroom were rather modest. We were given a menu to order room service, but there was no option to order it online or by cellphone, and the phone in our room wasn't working.

The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was great. The location of the hotel was wonderful, walkable to many main sites in Vienna. We were also surprised with a bottle of prosecco for New Year's Eve, which was a thoughtful touch.

Great location - close walking distance to the old city center but just far enough away to be away from the crowds. Very quiet location. Small, intimate feeling in the shared public spaces. Staff were very professional but friendly and helpful. All staff spoke English.
The room was very comfortable and they had some holiday treats waiting for us. But their bathroom essentials were subpar in my opinion. Cheap shampoo, no hair conditioner, no hand lotion, etc. and I would have expected better towels.

The hotel is located perfectly. Rathaus district is one of the best locations in Vienna. Central and very quiet. The facilities are good. The shower is excellent. The staff are amazing! Many thanks to all of them. They’re very friendly, polite and ready to help with everything. Good breakfast is a nice bonus.
There was some dust in our room the first day we checked in. I asked the manager to come see, what he did and even changed the bed sheets. The next day proper cleaning was done and the problem solved. We stayed for the New Year, so it was a little overpriced, but it’s the case everywhere.

The location was excellent ; within walking distance to the Rathaus Christmas Market and the MuseumsQuartier.
The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally warm; the heating worked perfectly, which was much appreciated in winter.
The hotel has a boutique, historic character, and the updates they have made add a nice, fresh touch without losing its charm in the common spaces.
The entrance area and the game room, especially decorated with a Christmas theme, were beautiful and very welcoming.
Complimentary sparkling water in the room was a great and thoughtful touch.
The bathroom was nice and well maintained, with good and consistent hot water.
The staff was always helpful and smiling, one down side was our room was not ready at check-in time- disappointing when you are travelling from far away.
I recommend this to everyone who is looking for a nice place to stay very near to central attractions with a reasonable price compared to other Vienna accomodation offerings.
The breakfast room was very small and not very inviting, so I didn’t use the breakfast service. Because of that, I can’t comment on the food variety. However, I assume it could be much nicer in summer when the inner courtyard is open.
Although the rooms were very large, the interior design felt somewhat inconsistent, with a noticeable clash between old and new elements. From an interior design perspective, it didn’t feel fully cohesive. This may not be a direct reflection of the hotel’s service quality, but the heavily used and worn carpets (especially in the entrance hall of the room) contributed to this feeling and could benefit from renewal.

Location is good, rooms are nice size, hotel is clean and staff are extremely friendly
The bathrooms are tiny with very little space to leave anything. If you are paying for breakfast , it’s a waste of time as it’s only buffet with very few options. If you are vegetarian etc you will struggle
