Checkin did not pretend like i do not exist, which is often the case for hotels booked with booking.com Getting around the hotel is quick, 4 lifts are plenty to not have to wait on anyone. Breakfast was good, it has a lot of variety.

We had a wonderful stay at Meliá Vienna, and this visit was even more special because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. A heartfelt thank you to Lubi, who made our stay truly unforgettable. She was incredibly kind, warm, and caring from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out. She surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with a beautiful view, which made our celebration even more memorable. She also arranged a lovely romantic decoration in our room with rose petals in the shape of a heart. It was such a thoughtful and beautiful gesture that we will always remember. Even at check-out, Lubi continued to take great care of us by allowing us to leave our luggage at the hotel until we picked up our rental car from downtown. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and valued. Thank you, Lubi, for making our anniversary so special. You are a wonderful person and a true credit to Meliá Vienna. We can’t wait to come back!
The only suggestion I have is to consider adding a bidet to the bathrooms, as it would make the stay even more comfortable for many guests.

Slightly out of town but a really quiet location right by the river and the views are beautiful. I loved the concept of getting a free drink voucher if you skip room cleaning and the overall vibe of the hotel was safe and secure and clean. The pillows were comfortable, the front of house was polite and there was nothing more we could have asked for!
The thoughtfulness of the room layout! There’s not much the staff can do but the room for two people had wardrobes which you couldn’t use seperate my because they open directly in front of each other. The toilet and shower are see through and there weren’t enough hangers. The tv is on the side of the room so you can’t watch it from bed but overall the views are stunning.

Rooms are amazing
Staff is horrible no one works there 30 min to pick up the phone. Room service never pick the phone up. All restaurants closed almost the whole day. 2 pizzas and a soup for room service at some point. This is a 5 stars hotel not a holiday inn. Staff answer was this a business hotel no a vacational. What kind of respond is that?

Nice hotel, staff, room and location
The minimum room temperature you could set on the air con was 21 degrees which was too warm. The vent in the window frame when opened to get some fresh air into the room rattled when caught by the wind. Combined the heat and noise meant it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. This was a shame as other than that my rating would be a lot higher.

I recently stayed at this hotel before a flight, and for the most part, it was a stellar experience. If you are looking for a place to stay in Vienna with easy access to the airport, this is it. The Highlights * The View: Absolutely breathtaking. You get a sweeping panorama of Vienna that is hard to beat. * Location: Perfect for travelers. The transit to the airport is seamless, making it a stress-free choice for an early morning departure. * The Skybar: Spending the night before my flight here was a highlight. The atmosphere is top-notch and the drinks are excellent. * The Food: I had dinner at the restaurant located just below the Skybar. The cuisine was phenomenal—truly some of the best cooking I’ve encountered in a hotel setting.
Unfortunately, the service at the restaurant was marred by the manager’s behavior. I haven't encountered such an unpleasant and arrogant attitude in a long time. If you don't have a reservation, he will dismiss you without a second thought in a remarkably condescending manner. It’s a shame that such a high-caliber establishment is represented by someone so lacking in basic hospitality.
