The owners were great, hospitality was exceptional. The kitchen has everything you need. It's super cozy.
Having shared bathrooms and toilets. The rooms were incredibly large, it would have been perfect if there were private bathrooms inside the rooms.

I come from a country known for its hospitality, but the hospitality of the hosts at Wienderland is next level :-) The kindness of the owners would be reason enough to stay, but there are many more reasons. First of all, the location of the property is excellent. It is in a quiet street, in a cozy neighbourhood, but only a few steps away from the main shopping area. I especially loved the charming theme of Alice in Wonderland, and all the little details at every corner. A lot of love has been invested in setting up the rooms. This is visible in the comfy bed, the beautiful bed linen, the modern furniture. I will give just two examples of how the hosts think of important details - this was one of the rare places in this price range where there was actually a double mattress on a double bed and not two singles and a gap in the middle. There was also an extension cable for charging gadgets - no need to make a schedule of who will be using the one or two outlets you usually get. Last but not least, the room was quiet and spotlessly clean. You will not regret booking this place and, if you are a child at heart, the lovely design will certainly lift your spirits!

I had a wonderful stay at Pension Wienderland. The location is excellent — very close to Zieglergasse metro station and just a short ride to the city center. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable.
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and they even allowed me to check into my room immediately upon arrival, which was a great surprise. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a budget-friendly, central stay in Vienna.

Really nice location in Vienna with lots of good restaurants and shops nearby. The place was very clean and the room was comfortable. We were there on a particularly hot week and the room was very warm at night, but can’t help the weather. The place was quiet at night, even with the window open, which was nice. Very cool decorations and it was nice to have coffee in the morning.
Only downside was occasionally having to wait a minute to use the shared bathroom. Never had to wait for a shower stall though, the showers were above expectations!

Instead of shower cabin, there was only shower curtain in the bathroom. So the floor was inevitably full of water after the shower.

Everything about this property is quirky and wonderful! It is themed in Alice in Wonderland (but subtle—so it is never too much) The hosts are terrific and very communicative - after-hours entry is bizarre but the instructions are clear! Kitchen is huge and espressos and tea are free. My private room was enormously spacious and had a lovely huge window. Great light and great sleep!! Also fantastic location - super easy to walk anywhere - and the hosts again are so gracious and helpful with instructions and recommendations. She told me to see Hundert-Wasser Haus and if you are an Alice in wonderland fan then you should see it too!!
The place was completely silent at night while I was there and I was always worried I would wake someone by walking about or making a late night call overseas. On the other hand it was good to not take work calls on vacation! Haha. The bathroom is shared but I never had to wait for it. It is thorough the common room tho so if you choose this location, be aware to walk to showers or WC you’ll want clothes and slippers

The Pension was well located. Loved the Alice in Wonderland theme. The hosts were amazing. Free tea and coffee were always available. The rooms were spacious and very clean. . We had stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip. We were warmly welcomed. Wonderful restaurant recommendations were given. Since we had a very early morning flight a van was arranged to pick us up.

It’s great that there is coffee machine. So you can have coffee in the morning and go for a walk to the city center.
And location is great, beautiful district.
It isn’t a big problem, but after taking shower, a lot of water stays on the floor.

Without any exaggeration, for us it was "home away from home" experience. Small pension -- well equipped, nicely designed, very well organized . We felt that we were welcomed and cared for.
The location is very central (close to Mariahilfer str) , and still quiet.
Spacy room, high ceiling...
The host is very nice, helpful, and a fascinating person to talk to :)
I definitely recommend this wonderful (Wienderful?) place to each and everyone who plans to visit Vienna.
