Location is ok, room also ok , the value for money was very good. Has parking place/garage, the stuff is helpful. With the improvements mentioned below, the hotel would be perfect.
The heat in the room is made with ventilation and the problem is that this is too noisy especially at night, we could not sleep with the noise, so we had to close it, so it was a little cold. This can be improved. The bathtub has aplastic curtain which is not very hygienic, a glass partition would be more appropriate for a 5* hotel. These 2 things are unchanged since many years.

Poor experience at check in - all three of my credit cards, and two of my wife’s were declined at reception. No issue with cards as they were used successfully elsewhere in hotel, at ATM in hotel and throughout the city. The issue did result in one of my cards being blocked by my bank which was very inconvenient and a little stressful. When I tried a day later in reception they all worked. I found the response by initial person at reception to be a little patronising and lacking proactively. Another staff member who helped was far more professional and helpful

The staff was very kind and helpful and the lobby bar is a good place
The facility was very old. Our double bed was not flat and because of this it was very uncomfortable. We asked the hotel to change it but they found a temporary solution to this issue which was not very helpful. Also its location looks very good in terms of the ratings but at least 15 minutes walk is required to reach the center
