Exceptional
The conundrum was the Imperial Riding School was closed for refurbishment. I was contacted a while ago by the hotel who re-protected my stay at their main Vienna Marriot hotel in the centre, (on the ParkRing). So all was good although I can't really describe what the experience would be like at the Imperial Riding School. I am sure it will be excellent when it reopens.

Room is big and nice. Close to city center.
The pool & facilities are not that nice. Also occupied mostly by elderly people. The restaurant is too expensive while the food was not good.

Breakfast was ok but v pricey
- crazy noisy air con - offered me a room on the ground floor or an upstairs room with a single bed. Not what Id booked. - in the gym 3 out of 4 running machines were broken - no slippers or dressing gowns - check in took forever

Breakfast and Romm were great! Very friendly staff.
The pool and sauna is extremely slippery - very dangerous! It is also open to the public with a smocking area right next to the pool.
