Location was excellent, but the hotel itself was old and tired. The room was a tiny L shaped room with a tiny bathroom, anyone with long legs would struggle to sit comfortably on the toilet as there was only about 4 inches between my knees and the toilet wall. The room was clean but hardly enough room to swing a cat. There was no view from the window which looked out onto walls of adjacent windows. I doubt whether the furnishings and furniture has changed since the 1960s. I bumped my head on the wall opposite as I got out of bed as it was so close to the bed. The staff were polite and courteous and the breakfast was adequate. Having stayed in the Hotel Am Konzerthaus last year, at a cheaper price, and which is still at a cheaper price, there is really no comparison. Unfortunately, I was unable to book there and this hotel was an alternative, but definitely poor value for money in comparison. It is however, centrally located and a few minutes walk from most of the city centre attractions and the State Opera House. It is what it is, and was OK for a couple of nights stay but I would not book this hotel again.

The location of this hotel is amazing, and the staff are very helpful and kind. The breakfast is great; a lot of good options and good coffee.
The rooms are pretty minimal and small, although European standards are a bit different in this regard. A "Do Not Disturb" sign to hang on the door would be helpful.

The breakfast. The breakfast area is very small and cramped. The selection and amount of food was very limited and there is a general stingy feeling about breakfast. Only small side plates are provided, in case you take too much)).

Location is perfect. Very central, next to the city center and the old part.
A bit too "old style", it would need a renovation. The mattress of one the bed was extremely uncomfortable (seemed like a folding bed), we needed to sleep on the same side.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good. Room was warm and cosy.
The en-suite was very small.
