The oldest hotel in Vienna is really stylishly old. It's wonderfully decorated. It has everything you would expect from such a hotel, including a bonbon on the pillow. And they have a library, which scores points in my book. Have a look around. It's worth it.
The room was pretty warm. Warm enough that a duvet was too much. I'd rather have just one sheet.

Bed was comfortable with 2 very comfortable armchairs also in room. Excellent shower. Ensuite modern bathroom with separate ensuite toilet. Breakfast was an ample selection of continental and cooked breakfast. Staff were very attentive.
Bedroom was very warm. We slept with windows open at night in mid April. There was no noise tho. We overlooked the courtyard- but this was really the roof of the breakfast room so view was not great if you looked down! But the buildings around the courtyard were pleasant. Just don't look down!

Breakfast was good, but you charged me extra for a room with a view, and the view was of the restaurant's rooftop, and at the same time the room was much too small to accommodate two people.
What I didn't like! I booked a double room for my wife and me, but they gave me a smaller one. The receptionist promised to change it, but she didn't. Two days later, I asked her to change the towels in the room, and she responded angrily.
