Disappointing
The location in general was great.
It was not mentioned that the rooms are street front, so we listened to the street car and autos all night long. It was very loud and annoying. Also, I rented a room for three people because I was told there would be three beds and instead we had a sofa sleeper.

I loved the classic style & ambiance, the morning coffee on the comfy terrace, the multi language receptionists.
It's a very good position, close to the old city center.
The mattress was too soft for me.

The room was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best we have ever experienced in our travels. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were spacious (superior rooms) and clean, the staff was very helpful, the breakfast had many options, including vegan. The design is very elegant. The location is great - a few minutes walk to the old city and to public transportation.

My wife & I loved this hotel. It had charm, the room we had was wonderful & exceptionally clean. The buffet breakfast was unbelievable.

Great location, near the action but it in the action. Fun to be in a historic hotel, comfortable bedding.
A few misses with customer service/reception but overall they delivered. They never replenished toilet paper or provided extra rolls which seemed super odd, and a sign of an undertrained staff.

Hotel Stefanie has a rich and interesting history. You can actually feel a bit "of the time" while staying there, starting with the actual PHYSICAL room key (haven't seen one of those in a while, right?), which you hand to the front desk each time you leave and get back when you return. The bathroom was nicely spacious. We were able to do laundry in the tub! The location is ideal and walkable.
There were few outlets, making it tricky to plug in the included water kettle, which was sitting on the windowsill, with no nearby place in which to plug it. My partner opened some windows in the bathroom to let some air in, and we had to contend with a couple of bees that had flown in due to the lack of screens (be aware...). The breakfast buffet was just okay and the staff seemed a bit frazzled.

Perfectly located in the middle of everything. Breakfast was included and was lovely, cappuccino, eggs, fresh bread. Front desk went way above being accommodating and helped me with daily travel issues.
