A beautiful historic hotel, but very cozy. Close to Prater and the city center. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
No problem, everything was fine. The price was higher, but it fully corresponded to the location near the center, the facilities, and the reputation of the hotel.

Perfectly located in the middle of everything. Breakfast was included and was lovely, cappuccino, eggs, fresh bread. Front desk went way above being accommodating and helped me with daily travel issues.

Fabulous breakfast buffet, great quality and selection.
We made the classic mistake of paying for the 'name' but at a cost of over €1000 for three nights it simply wasn't worth it. There are plenty of quality hotels in Vienna which offer significantly more value.
No toiletries in the bathroom, bathrobes or slippers. The hotel was built in 1601 and I believe the towels were the originals. Hard and coarse great for skin exfoliating but little else!

Beautiful hotel in a great location, walking distance from most of places of interests and close to metro station for travels further away. Staff was super nice and professional. Exceptional breakfast buffet. Very nice, clean and comfortable room with minibar and kettle and teas/coffees. Would recommend to everyone for unforgettable stay in Vienna.

Excellent location near to city centre. Beautiful quiet room and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast. We ate 2 dinners in which were also good.
No swimming pool We were quite aware of this beforehand.

The staff were great, helped my wife get some ice bag to help relieve some swelling in her legs. Always offered sound advice when asked for help.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, an adult woman and two girls aged 8 and 11. The hotel is in a great location, impressive interior, clean, tidy, spacious rooms (we stayed in a suite), comfortable bed, adjustable room temperature, excellent breakfast, and yet all of that is nothing compared to the hotel staff. Kind, smiling, unobtrusively present, ready to help and meet all our needs. Our little girl celebrated her birthday during her stay, and the hotel staff did everything to make her feel like a princess - champagne in the room (children's, of course), flowers, a cake, and, most valuable of all, a personal handwritten letter - a congratulatory note.The oldest hotel in Vienna has lived up to its name and the name of the city - synonymous with culture and decency - We wish the hotel staff many happy years ahead, and we will definitely be back.
