A truly wonderful hotel.
A feeling of calm and luxury as soon as you enter.
We were very impressed with the staff.
Every one we encountered was very professional and immaculately dressed with impeccable manners.
Great location, just a short walk to St. Stephen's and the centre.
We were on the 4th floor, not facing the street, so we had a very quiet room.
The bed was very comfortable, we slept well each of the 3 nights we stayed.
The hotel bar also had 2 alcoholic-free beers, which was a great bonus for us.

The hotel is Vienna’s oldest, beautifully maintained with charming antiques and historical character.
The public areas have a classic, elegant feel that makes you appreciate its heritage.
The staff were unfriendly, cold, and unwelcoming throughout our stay—not a single smile, nor any sense of hospitality.
The breakfast was disappointing, with no effort to accommodate vegan options even when kindly requested.
Our room, sold as “garden view”, was instead hidden in a corner facing a blank wall—a major let-down.
No complimentary water in the room; water was only available for purchase from the minibar, which felt unfriendly and not guest-oriented.

The common areas and rooms were all beautiful and well maintained. The staff was friendly and the bar too. Location is ok, not in the center, but not too far either. Overall is a nice charming hotel.

Wonderful
Great hotel close to the old town. Combines old world charm with very updated rooms. Bathrooms were all totally new and everything very clean. I had a single which is small but was perfect for my needs (keep that in mind if you care about space single not for you). I faced a courtyard so was totally quiet. Breakfast was included and was amazing. Great buffet in the European style. Staff very friendly. Hotel about 15 minute walk to centre of old town and 5-10 minutes to all subways. Very easy to get around from there. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautifully presented, wonderfully olde world but with all modern amenities. Breakfast excellent even served Sparkling Wine and when I had to leave early on departure day a packed lunch was offered instead of breakfast. It was a wonderful staff with exceptional staff.

The hotel was lovely and very comfortable.
The breakfast was fabulous.
Had trouble with the key as was old and the shower I feel needs replacing however worked all ok but sprayed everywhere.

Everything was good, room was stylish and very clean, the location is perfect, staff very nice and the breakfast was rich, all food fresh and good. We loved the exposition of the historical objects in the hotel lobby.
