Excellent location in near St Stephen’s yet the rooms were really quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. Would liked to have enjoyed a drink or dinner at rooftop restaurant. Next time, for sure!

The Hotel Royal rooms are spacious and comfortable. Good sheets and pillows. The bathroom was renovated. It's small but very clean. The location is the best !! No noise whatsoever from the streets at night. It has a very good Italian restaurant. The Staff at the Reception are nice and helpful !! I would definitely recommend it and go back !!
The closet doesn't have hanging space.

Location is superb - less than 10 steps from Stephan Platz - the center of the old area of Vienna, Many places to visit are at walking distance from Stephan Platz and the stairs to main subway lines are in that platz as well. The room was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast is excellent, very rich and varied, the place is quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
I can't say I didn't like anything. everything was perfect. The price was very reasonable but we stayed there at off-season.

Awesome location right near main walking street, metro station and the Cathedral. The breakfast and the serving staff were great. Lots of hot/cold choices. We mainly walked to the local sites because the location is very central. Somewhat easy to take transit to the airport - less than taxi but we had to deal with luggage which wasn't too bad (Metro to main train station then direct train to airport). We took transit to Schonbrunn Palace (great) and Bratislava (average...we just wanted to see it)
