Hotel is not at City Center but is at walking distance to many visiting points and many restaurant very close by. Tram is 100 meters far. Room was excellent for me. Buffet breakfast was very good but could be little more richer. Restaurant in the hotel closes at 10.ooPM

Everything about Hotel Rathaus Wien & Design was excellent. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, great mattress!and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to explore Vienna.

Spacious room, friendly staff, great location close to public transit. The shower was incredibly good pressure and temperature. Lovely and will be back! Comfy bed too and lots of restaurants close.

Large room in attractive neighborhood just outside city center.
There is a serious issue of access to travelers with mobility issues. Access to lobby from street requires climbing a winding staircase of ten steps.

My stay was fabulous due to great check in/out service and the outstanding room they provided. I was afraid that my room would be hot from the weather. It was a pleasant surprise their air conditioner made me rest easy. Location was easy to walk or take public transportation for sightseeing. I would definitely book this hotel if I’m ever back in Vienna.

This hotel was one of the quietest we have ever stayed at! The only sounds I heard were from the birds in the trees in the courtyard outside, which is the way I like it!
Our room had subtle hand-painted designs not only on the walls but also, amazingly, on the 12 ft ceilings!
Our room seemed smaller than what I thought we ordered but I didn't press the issue because of its other virtues, like looking out over a tree filled courtyard.

Staff are helpful, caring starting from reception, restaurant employees. Everyone smiles and welcoming.
We had issue with fridge, as it needed to be changed, receptionist Philip was very kind and attentive. He found solution very efficiently and concerns were resolved.
All shout outs to the staff, you can feel a good vibe among them.
Room has everything we need, kettle was provided on request, room is clean.
Location is a huge plus. Walking distance from most of the attractions, quite at night, good walking area.
Things were out of hands of employees: ac was not cooling on a warm day, as it had to with some municipality decisions.
Elevator did not have access to ground floor, so we had to carry suitcases. However reception helped us to take them down.

The staff was outstanding, the breakfast was delicious even for vegetarians like us, we stayed in the family room and the size of the room and privacy was very good.
The king beds were lumpy and I had to ask for bed topper so that we could sleep on it. Once we brought the issue to the attention of the front desk staff, they quickly addressed it. The location of the hotel is 800 m to 1.5 km from all the attractions that we wanted to see such as Hoffburg Palace and Welts museums , ST. Stephen's Cathedral, St. Peter's and St. Charles churches, Kuntshistoriches museum, Natural History Museum, Albertina, Academy of Fine Arts museum, and other city center attractions. We used Uber a lot because it is very inexpensive and very convenient than using the subway and changing 3 times to go to Schonbrunn Palace, Furniture museum, and Belvedere Palace. Vienna is a very beautiful and clean city and you can do a lot of things there.
