Location is excellent! Staff is kind & helpful, they really do their best for the guests! Rooms are nicely furnished and cleaned! We are returning guests for many years, but this was our first stay since Pandemia (COVID-19). We experienced some changes: hotel lobby is nicely refurnished (modern), the sauna is not available any more and breakfast is operated separately from the hotel (inside the hotel at its usual space) by an independent vendor, so price of breakfast is very different (much more expensive) that we used to pay for it before! So we had our breakfast in the close neighborhood!
High price of breakfast! My husband missed the sauna!

I've been to Mercure Westbanhof before, and I enjoyed my stay here so I visited again. Though I booked the hotel on the very day that I stayed, fortunately there were rooms left for me and my company so we could check in right away. The service staffs were really nice, we got a comfortable room, and had a nice rest. I'd choose this hotel the next time I visit Vienna again.
The room that I got this time was smaller with no amenities. Last time, I got a room with a refrigerator, a tea kettle and tea bags. I think it's because I stayed there for two days and booked in advance. The room was fine though.

Hotel location is perfect! Staff very helpful and friendly. We came at hotel very early before check-inn, but room was ready, it was really great for us, because we were very tired after long journey! Thank you for everything!

The location The hotel was perfect for what we wanted
The bar staff were unable to cope with the amount of people and got quite stressed. We waited a long while to order our speciality coffees and of her own volition she brought us out two ordinary coffees as she did not have the whipped cream for the Irish coffees. The whipped cream in a speciality coffee is one of the main ingredients (apart from the whisky and the coffee) she should have explained and asked if we be would be happy with just coffee? We would have been able to give full marks on all the sections of the survey

Nothing good to say. It was very much a let down. Inadequate facilities for disabled guests.
The breakfast staff on entrance on the Saturday morning had a bad attitude. The cost of the breakfast did not reflect the amount and choice of food on offer. Under cooked sausages. Cold bacon. Limiting choice of eggs Scrsmbled egg was not hot abd rhere was no temperature checks on the so called hot food. I was informed that the breakfast is nothing to do with the hotel. This is WAY OVERPRICED AND I WILL NEVER BE TAKING THIS OPTION AGAIN..

Location is very good, near Westbahnhof station. The wifi is ok. The staff is polite. It was an average experience in a modest accomodation.
The hotel is very overpriced for the limited amount of services and the tiny little room that it offers (but it still manages to be cheaper than most equivalent options in Vienna. The city is a bit of a crapshoot in that regard).
