Fantastic location in a quiet street close with great access to the city of Vienna. It’s very tranquil to return here after exploring the city. The room was extremely comfortable and all staff were very friendly and polite. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I return to Vienna.
More pressure from the shower would make the hotel perfect!

Location was right off the main pedestrian street running from St. Stephen's to the opera, so everything was very close. Also not far from the train station. They provided free cake in the afternoons! Room was very comfortable. Good service. Friendly staff.
The hallway decor felt a little dated and they could have used a coat of paint. But inside the rooms was much nicer.

Wonderful small hotel with fantastic staff and very generous attitude throughout. The goal is really to make guests happy which then translates into a relaxed atmosphere of satisfaction all around. Staff even came to sing a birthday song at breakfast where the guest was expecting it the least. The quality of the food in the morning was very good, with a perfect mixture of buffet and à la carte options. And they stole my heart with the daily fresh cake (a “Gugelhupf”), that—together with free pastries—was also available at the front desk throughout the day. Finally, there is a wellness center with sauna on demand. Just all great.
A foldable stand to prevent having to open the suitcase on the floor would be a nice low-cost addition to the room.

The Palais Mailberger offers comfort, a great location and a reasonable price, and the people working there make it special. They gave us advice on restaurants and tourist activities. After we departed for Milan, we realized we left some items behind. Jana and her team were very helpful in forwarding them to us, a really unexpected nice touch.

The location of the hotel coud not be better. It is in the center with a pedestrian site. Walking distance to the museums, concert hall, shops etc. The breakfast was excellent, both buffet and a menu. I stayed in this hotel a few times and always liked it.

The rooms overlooking the internal courtyard and the hotel café can be somewhat noisy at times, but not affecting overall comfort.

Definitely a very nice stay at the middle of the center. We loved everything about the hotel. The staff was also amazing. This has been our first choice for further accomodations.

The bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice. Thanks for the washcloths. Many European hotels do not offer these.

We found the coffee maker in the closet in an awkward place. No place to hook up the coffee maker.
There is only one small table in the room.
We requested another table be brought up which was done but again it was a small table. At least we had a place for the coffee maker and on the other table we could keep the water and a few snacks.
If you are staying a few days and want to set up your electronics and or other items that you use everyday there is no place to put them. The tiny attached bed tablets don't cut it. It would be an easy fix to put a desk or larger table underneath the television and or side dressers next to each side of the bed.
Also, a few hooks near the closet would be helpful for hanging up the very nice robes that were in the room. There is no place to put them if they are damp after use.
No refrigerator.
