Very convenient and clean. I didn’t realize that all doors in the hotel are fire doors (extremely heavy) until and the door out of the lobby and into the door spa slammed on my finger, causing blood and extreme pain. The girls behind the counter didn’t handle the situation well at all. Perhaps there should be warning signs stating caution that door is a fire door and is a very heavy.
It was on a great locations n and very noce.

The hotel was really well located in the best walking and attractions area of Vienna. On a quiet street and nearby restaurants, museums and transportation. My room was clean and quiet. The bar downstairs was also a nice place to get a drink after dinner and a long day of walking and exploring.
The shampoo dispenser was broken in the shower. Otherwise everything was great.

The hotel was very well updated with new rooms and updated bathrooms. Great location walking distance to so many main sites and shops. The breakfast was very nice - best breakfast we had while in Europe!

Location was excellent, city center and steps from everything Vienna has to offer. Breakfast was also very good. Staff attentive and hopeful, went out of their way to help us with restaurants, taxes, ubers etc. The hotel itself is a bit dated. Did not have details that we would have expected (no water bottles, no phone in the room to reach the reception).

We could not have picked a better location for a hotel that fit our preferences. The hotel is stylish, beautifully decorated, very central - we walked to a lot of the attractions, and when we needed to take public transport, the subway and bus stations were just a short walk away. Tons of places to eat nearby - Japanese, Italian and Viennese cuisine - whatever your heart desires. Despite the central location, it was very quiet at night, we enjoyed restful sleep which was very important to us. Beds were soft and comfortable. My husband felt the beds were too soft but to me they were perfect so it may depend on what you prefer personally. We had a room with a view to the interior courtyard. The staff was amazing, so helpful and friendly. The bar inside the hotel served tasty cocktails. The breakfast was delicious - we had an assortment of cold dishes - fruits, deli meats, cheeses, delicious buns (my favorite was the one with pumpkin seeds), yoghurt, juices, and hot dishes on a menu you could order from the waiters, and tasty coffee. If we return in Vienna, I would love to stay at this hotel again and would gladly recommend it to others. You can not go wrong with it! Sadly I don't know all the names of the staff there but Jana was very helpful when we checked in and out and the staff helping with breakfast was amazing too, as well as the talented and lovely bartender at Crux bar. Also a nice touch was the little chocolates that were delivered to us daily ? Thank you so much to all the amazing staff at Hotel Palais Mailberger Hof ❤️ you were a big part of what made our stay in Vienna enjoyable.
