Hotel MOTTO is an independent Boutique Hotel on Vienna’s Mariahilfer Straße and a proud recipient of a MICHELIN Key. The hotel combines Viennese elegance with the spirit of 1920s Paris, with individually designed rooms featuring custom-made furnishings, rich fabrics, marble and carefully selected details that create a residential rather than conventional hotel atmosphere. On the top floor, CHEZ BERNARD Restaurant & Bar sits beneath the hotel’s striking glass dome and opens onto a rooftop terrace overlooking Vienna. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails are served here. Hotel MOTTO is located directly on the famous Mariahilfer Straße, one of Vienna’s best-known shopping streets, with the MuseumsQuartier, Naschmarkt, Spittelberg and the independent restaurants, cafés and boutiques of Vienna’s 6th and 7th districts within easy reach. Very close to subway transport which is safe and fast. Room was generally very quiet bed comfortable. Restaurant lively and had nice wine list and food selection. Front desk helpful and gave excellent recommendations for dining with respect for our food and beverage preferences. Laundry service fast .
Would have preferred not to have bathtub exposed in room but this is minor. Liked WC in its own room.

Lovely, comfortable, stylish rooms. A very trendy hotel right in the shopping district. The underground station was right outside the hotel, which was useful. The hotel has a little bakery too, which was nice. Location was good for a first visit, but for the price, we might look to stay more central next time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Motto.

The room was truly beautiful; I felt quite content relaxing inside, listening to the Robert’s radio and appreciating the design. The staff were welcoming. The rooftop bar was pleasant. The location was convenient, near museums, shops, and restaurants.
I really loved my stay here, but the hallway noise is an issue. I was woken up twice after 1:30 a.m. by loud guests coming back to their rooms. While the windows do a great job of blocking out street noise, the hard floors and walls in the hallways mean sound just echoes. Since there is nothing to absorb the noise and the doors aren't fully soundproofed, you hear everything. Disrespectful guests are not the hotel’s fault, but adding some soundproofing / absorption out there would make a huge difference.

Cute boutique hotel with good location. The Staff were very pleasant and the restaurant we loved. It has a terrific ambiance about it and seemed to be very popular.
The room seemed crowded though I think it was due to the furniture and tables in the room.

We never ate breakfast at the hotel.
We found the room very crowded and small. There was far too much furniture and tables in the room for its size. We couldn’t open the closet doors unless seated on the bed. We couldn’t unpack our clothes… just very very crowded.
