I had a wonderful stay at Boutique Hotel Kugel Wein. From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely fabulous—warm, personal, and attentive. The hotel is family-run, and that really shines through in the way the staff and owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their communication was excellent, and they were always willing to help with anything I needed.
The location was perfect, just a short walk from the centre of Vienna, which made exploring the city so easy. My room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the facilities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself has a quaint, charming feel that adds so much character compared to larger, impersonal places.
Overall, this is a true gem in Vienna. Comfortable, clean, and run with genuine care—Boutique Hotel Kugel Wein is a place I’d happily return to and recommend to others

The hotel is very close to trams. The ground floor and the entrance to the hotel need some renovation.

The location was excellent with public transport options within metres or an easy 20 minute walk to the museum quarter. The host was exceptionally helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to visit.. The hotel has character and we enjoyed the personalised service.

I can not give my opinion about breakfast because we always had it in some Cafe, but room was very nice, comfortable and big, and very good location, we went walking everywhere
Maybe a bit short in facilities in the bathroom, only shower get, not shampoo or body lotion

The room and bathroom were a good size.
During the day there was a man on duty "Alex" who was always helpful with advice on where to eat and go.
Location was fairly good
You couldn't get breakfast there. We were told it was for their direct customers only ( Not booking.com)
We could never make the security safe work. Asked the management to help us , but nothing happened.
You had to get into the hotel via door codes when the front desk wasn't manned and always after 9pm. Strangely, during the day this was sometimes difficult to use.

The location could not be better. It was central yet quiet - public transportation in Vienna is superb and we were right near a bus and a metro although we are walkers so we walked everywhere.

The place is excellent and the neighborhood is very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is good coffee at the reception, and also tea and coffee in the room with a kettle, as well as fridge. And the most important- the hosts are super hospitable, they do their best for your stay to be pleasant and comfortable. They let me check in earlier and check out later, it was very touching. I will return again when in Vienna and recommend it to my friends

Loved the location in a fun part of Vienna walking distance to everything. Had an elevator so we didn’t have to lug the bags up! Extremely clean and the hosts were incredibly helpful!! Plenty of cafes and restaurants all around.
There was a team stop outside the window which is quite loud if you have the window open.
