A lovely hotel in a historic building. Well situated near the Stephansdom. Friendly staff. Really good and spacious bedrooms (we had a junior suite). First stayed here more than 30 years ago. Have stayed several times in recent years . Over the 30’years standards have been very well maintained.

Modern but historic. Great location. Clean. Very friendly and helpful staff
Suggestion. Bathtub was hard to get in and out of. Slippery and too high. Not good for older guests

we liked everything, the polit staff attitude, the very friendly and comfort room, excellent breakfast, top management guidance, quite and enjoyable patio to have a coffee with strudel cake, excellent central location, amongst other options the Konig of Ungarn proved that it was the right and best choice to stay

The location is perfect - right in the center but still quiet. There are many excellent restaurants close by. The rooms are spacious Will appointed and comfortable. And the breakfast is excellent!

Location was great
Air con was broken and street noise woke us with window open. However management was very apologetic and had tried unsuccessfully to contact me before we arrived to let me know. As recompense they did not charge us for drinks in the bar (the martini was a good one!). My husband likes to watch tv late at night so I booked a small studio because it had a curtain between the lounge area and the sleeping area - but be warned that the curtain track puts the tv in the sleeping area not the lounge area.
