Location was great
Air con was broken and street noise woke us with window open. However management was very apologetic and had tried unsuccessfully to contact me before we arrived to let me know. As recompense they did not charge us for drinks in the bar (the martini was a good one!). My husband likes to watch tv late at night so I booked a small studio because it had a curtain between the lounge area and the sleeping area - but be warned that the curtain track puts the tv in the sleeping area not the lounge area.

I loved this hotel. A real class act. It really feels like part of Vienna's history but it has modern comforts as well. It's not the least bit corporate and anonymous, but has it's own style. Best of all, the staff really seem to be proud of the hotel and of the welcome they give.

Large, lovely room. Staff attentive. Good breakfast.
Some front desk staff was excellent at providing recommendations and travel info, etc. others, not as much. Received some confusing and incorrect information and didn’t seem to know the neighborhood at all. Dry nice hotel

If you like a perfectly located elegant boutique Hotel, then this is it. Couldn't have been more pleased with our experience.
And the breakfasts were great. We will be back.

The place has a shabby-chic style that may look cute at first, but cleanliness is lacking in less obvious areas, such as behind the headboard. At times, I was even concerned about the possibility of bed bugs. Additionally, the room did not provide complimentary sealed water bottles.
For travelers aged 50+, the bathroom design poses a safety risk, particularly when stepping in and out of the bathtub.
In short, I would not choose to book this property again.

The "old world charm" was refreshing. The room was exquisite, lhigh ceilings and large, which is hard to come by in Europe. The staff was extremely accommodating.
The best location, close to all and pubic transport. The breakfast was superb, with a great variety. We will be coming back to Vienna and to this hotel.
