From the moment you walk into Hotel Josefine
, you realize this is not just a hotel — it’s an experience. The atmosphere is warm, artistic, and incredibly intentional, with every detail curated to perfection. It feels like stepping into a beautifully designed dream where vintage elegance meets modern comfort in the most effortless way.
The rooms? Absolutely flawless. Immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and unbelievably comfortable — I slept better here than I have in months. The attention to detail is on another level, from the lighting to the textures to the overall vibe. Everything just feels right. And the staff? Beyond exceptional. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your stay unforgettable. You’re not treated like a guest — you’re treated like someone they truly care about.
But let’s talk about the breakfast — because this deserves its own moment.
The breakfast setup at this hotel should quite literally be the golden standard for ALL hotels worldwide. No exaggeration. It’s not just food, it’s an experience. Everything is beautifully presented, fresh, and curated with such care that it sets the tone for your entire day. You don’t just grab breakfast — you enjoy it, slowly, intentionally, like a ritual. I found myself looking forward to waking up just for this.

Our stay at Hotel Josefine was nothing short of perfect. The entire ambiance of the hotel was immersive and unique, turning our three nights into a truly special experience. Everything from the décor to the little thoughtful touches felt like stepping into a beautifully curated story.
The staff were exceptional—genuinely warm and attentive. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast experience. The breakfast room was simply amazing, and the way everything was presented was both beautiful and so detail-oriented. They even remembered my birthday, which added such a personal and thoughtful touch.
We also loved the cocktail bar on-site that, while not officially part of the hotel, felt like an extension of its charm. It was absolutely incredible and definitely added to the experience. Plus, the music channels in the room perfectly matched the vibe of the hotel, and the beds were unbelievably comfy.
All in all, the hotel was spotless, conveniently located near the Tube, and truly a place we can’t recommend enough for a memorable stay in Vienna.

Truly a luxurious 1920s vibe in all aspects.
Room was fairly clean, but the bathroom had a stain on the wall that was probably missed by housekeeping.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The thoughtful little touches really made the stay feel special—like the wine waiting in the room and the cosy lounge stocked with tea, coffee, and delicious treats. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, easily one of the best I’ve had.
The hotel itself has a chic 1920s vibe, full of character and style, which made the whole experience feel even more unique. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going out of their way to make everything perfect.
The room itself was gorgeous and inviting, with a warm, cozy atmosphere that made it hard to leave. I truly adored my stay and would love to return.

This place is so stylish - it is a feast for the eyes. It's also really comfortable - and very central. The transport links meant that we could easily get to all main attractions and back at night safely and conveniently. A cosy lounge with complimentary tea and coffee is available at all times. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully. The whole place is luxurious.

It was extremely clean. They cleaned while I was away even though I only stayed one night.
The staff were very nice.
The room interior is nice and new.
The pillows were very uncomfortable - flat with no filling.
The shower head had only a thin stream of water.

Great location, very engaged staff. Well-thought out rooms.
Unfortunately my room was directly located over the bar, which plays music until 3am on weekends.
Upon mentioning this to the staff they said they would call the bar and have them turn it down.
To pay over €100 per night for a room and then not be able to sleep properly (despite earplugs) is an absolute joke.
