I liked the style of the hotel, the decorations and the colours were brilliant. I liked the air conditioning. I liked that the hotel was close to the underground line and generally cenrtal. Staff were lovely and friendly
The plug socket behind my bed could have done with a bit more clearence to plug my phone into.

Gorgeous warm environment, facilities were great. Enjoyed thoroughly the music choices and system.

Lovely art deco style, super sumptuous furnishings. Lovely finishing touches like the lounge space, chandeliers and soft crooner music. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even made my birthday extra special by presenting me with a complimentary mouse cake. A very special place!
No storage space for suitcases or personal items. Dim lighting made it difficult getting ready in the morning. The bathroom (although unique!) wasn’t always the most functional.

A delightful, quirky hotel in the Mariahilf area of Vienna. The location is ideal for a short walk via a long shopping street into the historic centre of Vienna. It's a very quiet area which was perfect for us and the complimentary bottle of wine in the room was a nice touch as well as some information about the hotel's history. The staff were uniformly excellent and helpful, especially the Croatian lady that served our breakfast. Talking of breakfast - it's worth staying here just for that. You can have as much as you want from the menu but it is all cooked & prepared especially for you rather than served buffet style. Not full up? Just order some more. It is a great way of serving breakfast and others can learn from it.
The only reason I haven't given a 10 is the layout/decor of the room. A sliding door serves both the toilet and the shower but only 1 at a time. I prefer a proper door separating the toilet from the bedroom. The bedroom was long & narrow and made getting in and out of bed slightly tricky and although I quite liked the quirky decor in the bathroom it could prove to be problem for some.

Location good, at the most 30 mins stroll to most things. Good metro links too. Lovely extras provided in room, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water waiting for us on arrival.
Out of the norm heatwave while we were there and the air con in the room couldn't really keep up. Most other weeks of the year this wouldn't have been an issue.

Boutique hotel in a great location. Stylish and quirky throughout. Definitely a good spot for couples, located perfectly near shops and not a mile away from everything you want to see.

Only negative was the toilet in the room partitioned by a curtain. More privacy to preserve romance would have made it 10/10

A great welcome to a hotel of character. The room was very comfortable and attractive. Lovely little 'extras' that made it a treat. Breakfast was good quality with lots of choice. The breakfast server was attentive. No fridge or kettle in the bedroom with the provision of hot and cold drinks in a special guest lounge. Just something to be sure you are aware of.
I struggle with mattress protectors that don't breathe. I know they are there for a reason and I should have checked beforehand. Purely a personal quibble.
