The luxurious, renowned 5-star Hotel Imperial is set directly on the Ringstraße boulevard in the heart of Vienna and takes you back to the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It features exclusive hotel rooms and a 24-hour rooftop fitness center with a sauna. It was inaugurated in 1873 by Emperor Francis Joseph as the Palais Württemberg. Decorated with precious antiques, silk walls and historical details, the rooms and suites of Hotel Imperial, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna offer modern comforts such as air conditioning, a sound system and an extra-large TV. This is my favorite hotel in all of Europe where they treat me like a Prince and always obtain perfect seats for performances such as the opera and the not to be missed St. Charles Cathedral for a Vivaldi concert. I had missed seeing the Crown Jewels as they were closed on Tuesday. Right across the road was the museum which housed Egyptian artifacts which more than made up for missing the Crown Jewels.
No complaints whatsoever.

The location is great, easy walking to main part of town.
This hotel has a great facade, but for the rating and price point it is lacking. The room was comfortable and well appointed, but the air conditioning was noisy. Had a drink at the bar, ordered a Martini, was served a Vodka with an olive. Breakfast was part of the tariff, first day no-account put-on table just gave room No. (which is usual everywhere). Last day account put on table before even completed breakfast. When asked about account being put table, abrupt response, I know you don't need to pay just sign the slip. Had to email to have account finalized and hold on credit card rectified. Very Disappointed.

The Imperial Vienna Hotel exceeded all expectations. The interior is breathtaking, blending historic charm with refined luxury. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and genuinely attentive. The service throughout my stay was flawless — every detail was handled with care. Staff members were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Vienna, making it easy to explore the city’s cultural highlights. A truly exceptional experience.

Staff couldn't be more helpful. Absolutely amazing.
We paid for a suite which looked huge on the booking platform, but when you get there, it's kind of small, and the bathrooms could do with a bit of renovation, if you want my honest opinion. Luckily, the service was that good we didn't care.

A great, old fashioned hotel - room was wonderful, location excellent, service faultless. The communal showing of the World Cup matches was also a great idea and the atmosphere was really good.
The wifi did not work, however much they tried to fix it for us. It also could do with a refurb generally, but service was good, bed was comfy, room was great - no complaints really.
