Beautiful hotel combining old works charm and modern comfort within walking distance of all the sights. Excellent breakfast and service. The food in the restaurant is very good too.

The location was great with tram stop outside and underground a few hundred metres round the corner. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our room was on the small side but maybe we should have checked and booked a larger one. Unable to book dinner in restaurant one night as full but guess that’s because it’s pretty popular

The rooms are very nice. Breakfast is wonderful. The location is a bit far from old Vienna, but not too far. The hotel's restaurant is really good.
The shower has only all-in-one soap.

The hotel is clean, well equipped for our needs, and very well run. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable from the front desk through to housekeeping.
The recent renovations have increased the comfort level (Air Conditioning) without losing the Old World charm of the hotel.
The breakfast offered is is very good quality and offers a wide variety of food. Also very good coffee.
The location is very good, a 15 walk to the State Opera House.
Nothing comes to mind. We have stayed here several times and are happy to return each time.

Location is very convenient from the Central Station and to walk to main part of Vienna. Very good breakfast. PC with a printer in the lounge. I upgraded from a single room to a double room. Bathtub was nice, but they do not provide much amenities. Very basic body soap.
Cold staff. One of them even did not look at me at all when she checked me out and gave me the receipt. No word of thanks or good bye. Historical hotel, but they would be too proud to be nice to guests? A couple staff were smiling and friendly., but over all they were cold. Probably because this is Vienna, so this $300 a double room hotel is average. However, they could be better. House keeping did not supply new set of towels one day and I had to go to the reception as the telephone was out of order. The moment when I entered a rather small double room after a cold staff at the check-in reception, I felt regretted to choose this more expensive hotel than the one in the same neighborhood. That feeling did not change after 4 days stay. This is not cost-effective hotel. I should have chose another hotel near by.
