Hotel Erzherzog Rainer is an excellent place to stay in Vienna. It is in a central but quiet location and has an old-fashioned elegance whilst being throughly modernised. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good and the adjoining restaurant Wiener Wirtschaft is also excellent.

Somebody set the air conditioner at 18 degrees, cooling mode. It is not a normal temperature. I prefer the air conditioner just to be turned off.
