This family-run hotel offers a very central location in a quiet street in the heart of Vienna, just a 10-minute walk away from Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. The spacious and modern rooms and suites of Hotel Das Tigra are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, a mini-bar, safe, and a bathroom. In the morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with many typically Viennese dishes. Famous Viennese sights such as the State Opera, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Burg Theater and the Graben, Kohlmarkt and Kärntner Strasse shopping streets can be easily reached in short walks. The Herrengasse Underground Station (line U3) is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel. In 1773, Mozart and his father lived in a small apartment in the historical part of the hotel building, which dates from the 16th century, when they were invited to perform in front of the Empress Maria Theresia at Schönbrunn Palace. Beautiful room spotlessly clean. I love the little extras in reception like varieties of tea, pastries, fruit and sweets. A pre bed time camamolile tea was just perfect after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was fab too.

Hotel staff provided us lunch to go because of early morning flight. Best shower of all the 4 star hotels we stayed at during our trip to Poland, Slovakia and Berlin.
Major marathon event --with road closures in center city -- made getting to hotel by car impossible. Had to wander around with our suitcases on cobblestones for 25 minutes. A heads up from the hotel would have been helpful.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied and well organized. The garage is available on request, it is very close to the hotel. The location of the hotel is exceptional, very close to the public transport hub from where you can reach any part of the city.

Great central location for exploring Vienna. Nice, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast selection. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here for the third time, so that should say something.
Nearby roadworks were very noisy during the night hours. However, staff handled it very well and offered us a room on the far end of the hotel.

Very nice room plenty big enough.. Newly refurbished. Bathroom. With bath. Good coffee machine. Lobby offered Apples and water. Bar pleasant if small. Staff excellent. Location excellent- walked mostly everywhere and got tram to Prater and train to Schonbrunn very easily. Didn't have breakfast
Because no carpets in rooms and corridors there was noise from above. Room very hot and air con ineffective and too noisy to sleep with anyway. Street noise meant couldnt open windows. Street noise from roadworks was very disturbing one night and quite bad another night. A shame as it was otherwise fine.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Rome! The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable — just a few steps from the Spanish Steps. The rooms are large, with soft Frette sheets and towels, a modern kitchen. Everything was perfectly clean, with lovely bath products and many small touches that made us feel at home. The hosts were amazing — always in touch and very helpful with our luggage. With such comfort and warm hospitality, the stairs didn’t matter at all. I’d be happy to stay here again

Welcoming staff, superb breakfast, cosy bar, easy walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Unfortunately there were stains on the mattress cover and very unpleasant stains on the duvet itself. When I informed reception we were offered a new room but as it was late we declined and everything was rectified fully the following day.

Very good breakfast, various foods, exactly vegan as like seeds of chia with mango pure. Crepes with sweet cheese was delicious and soft. Should be perfect to have more choice for croissants. We loved enjoying our breakfast in the beautiful quiet morning in Majestic city of Vienna .
