This family-run hotel offers a very central location in a quiet street in the heart of Vienna, just a 10-minute walk away from Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. The spacious and modern rooms and suites of Hotel Das Tigra are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, a mini-bar, safe, and a bathroom. In the morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with many typically Viennese dishes. Famous Viennese sights such as the State Opera, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Burg Theater and the Graben, Kohlmarkt and Kärntner Strasse shopping streets can be easily reached in short walks. The Herrengasse Underground Station (line U3) is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel. In 1773, Mozart and his father lived in a small apartment in the historical part of the hotel building, which dates from the 16th century, when they were invited to perform in front of the Empress Maria Theresia at Schönbrunn Palace. Excellent location close to the museums and attractions, but still in a silent street. Room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast with friendly service and wide selection. All the personnel at the hotel was very friendly.

The location was perfect. Walking to the very centre of Vienna we’re basically everything is to took approximately 8 minutes. The cleanliness of the hotel is extremely high. Everything you need or expect is catered for within your room. Breakfast was lovely with a large variety of options for all. The check in and check out was easy with extremely nice staff. In regards to staff Anna and ola were amazing as was Michael the porterMichael. A special thanks to Joanna the cleaner who worked hard every day and was smiling and friendly everyday. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel it is pretty much perfect we loved our stay for 5 days.
The room was slightly warm without the air conditioning on however the air conditioning sorted the issue out or leaving the window open also worked. This really was a minor issue.

It is very convenient. Staff were excellent and my room had everything I needed. In the lobby there was fruit and pastries on offer and in the room a coffee machine was located. All in all a very pleasant experience. I would stay again if visiting Vienna.

Our room was very nice. We had air con. We highly recommend getting the breakfast at the hotel. There are so many options and they had the best breakfast we had in our 3 week, 3 country trip.
