The hotel has character. The staircase is beautiful! Breakfast was great. Worth the extra cost.
The room could easily be updated with minimal cost. Polish the furniture. New pillows. Clean grout in bathroom.

Old style but comfy, quite fitting for Vienna.
A group of youngsters checked in late one night and it was really noisy until late. The other four nights were good.

I preferred to stay in this hotel due to its advantageous location and single- room availability. The hotel is located next to University of Wien and S-bahn station is 100 m to hotel. One of the central station, Schöttentor, is 15 minutes to hotel by foot. The room is a bit small but convenient for single-use and adorned with everything you need to have in a touristic stay. In addition, I found the cleaning adequate. There is safety deposit box in the room and I found staying in this hotel safe.
The room is not well- isolated . Don't get frustrated when you hear snoring of the neighbor-room guest.

Wonderful
Hotel centrally located and has great staff. Big rooms with good light, upper floors hardly hear the street noise. The buffet breakfast is very good.
Biggest problem is very slow wifi.

The room was clean, everything worked and the bed was comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding. We tended to walk everywhere however there were tram stops very close by.
If a kettle had been provided in the room, it would have been excellent.

Located at a quite street, easy transportation to the town center. The facilities are a bit old, but they do have a certain antique charm. Just a reminder - there is no air-conditioner, which may be an issue during very hot days. Not a huge problem for us - we opened the windows and used the electronic fan. The front desk stores luggage after we check-out for free. It is very continent for us, so we could spend the day out and went back to get our luggage.
The elevator only goes up to the 4th floor, so we had to carry our luggage up to the 5th floor. Our 3-person room was on the 4th floor, while the 2-person room was on the 5th.

The building is beautiful, the inside of the rooms reminded me of typical Viennese buildings and the location is great!
