Breakfast was delicious and the service was just perfect without being overwhelming. The views and the calm atmosphere in the restaurant are the perfect start for a busy day. The hotel was very silent which is one of my key demands when I stay in a hotel.
The thermostat in my room 309 was very noisy - Sometimes air blowing from the machine felt very drafty.

Single room but with a big balcony with a great view of the city. Well planned bathroom and furniture etc. The hotel is in a very good location and only a short stroll to the city centre and cathedral. Several good restaurants in the nearby streets and a lovely park across the road. Free coffee and cake in the downstairs lounge every afternoon if you wanted it. The staff were delightful.

Suites with a terrace and cathedral view are worth the extra cost. Hotel is close enough to the center but still in a quiet area. Just a short walk from Wien-Mitte station too.
Worth noting this isn't quite a full service hotel in that there is no gym or evening food service/room service. This was not bothersome however as there are many food options within a five minute walk.

Fabulous view, breakfast and room. Air conditioning best ever in summer heat. Comfortable bed/pillows. Easy walk to the main sites - walk back from the opera was a pleasant stroll which felt safe for someone on her own.
