Wonderful
This is a lovely hotel run by the hospitable Mr Panus. We had a big room with kitchenette. There was a great choice of breakfast which is delivered to your room. Mr Panus was so kind with helping us choose a concert to go to and nearby local restaurants. He also gave easy directions to get to the property. It is a short walk to the tram or metro and a supermarket close by. You are only a few stops from St Stephen’s, Belvedere Palace, Sisi Museum etc.
I do agree with other comments about the people at the station but we didn’t feel unsafe at all.

Location was great, connecting by tram, bus and U barn was easy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The use of washing machine and dryer was helpful. Breakfast was simple but filling. The small kitchen had everything we needed. AC was working very well.
We did not see a lift. So had to carry bag to the first floor. But Panus was always ready to help.

first of all grateful thanks to Mr Panus for his kind and aware approach by all means(tidy room, hi-speed wi-fi and etc.) really enjoyed touchy breakfast, location is ok.
no elevator available, this may cause a problem for seniors and handicapped people.

Convenient location. A little hard to find with the rental cars GPS but eventually did. Place is located on a one way narrow street with little to no parking to stop and unload. This is very typical in Vienna. Good thing they had a parking garage available underground around the block. Gated, secure, left the car there ( comes at a price) like most hotels there. Used public transportation to get around, tram, U-Bahn, bus was right across the property. Get a weekly ticket, best value depending how long one stays.
Great big room and bathroom. Had an area with refrigeration, coffee & Espresso maker, toaster, microwave, silverware& china etc.
Eclectic kind of place. Lots of paintings.
No elevator though but help is available with luggage. The owner is very friendly and helpful in many ways explaining in/outs where to go etc. etc. Speaks 3 languages.

It was a delight returning to Altwienerhof. It is an aparthotel and there is lots of space, good facilities and wonderful features. Owner manager Mr Panus is an excellent hotelier, so helpful, friendly and knowledgable about Vienna, especially the Arts. We felt so comfortable and relaxed.

Breakfast was delivered to your door after ordering the night before. The room was large,comfortable, with art on the walls and classical music in the halls. There were books on art, architecture, and culture in several languages. Close to a light rail station,across the street!
My wife wanted us to move in! A closet kitchen was in the room. Manager was very helpful with all of our questions.Wow

Very good value for money. Everything you needed including little kitchenette. Close to supermarket. Art work on walls was attractive and interesting. Beds were very comfy. Shutters always appreciated. Had an excellent night sleep. Host very helpful and attentive. Easy, quick transport into centre.
There were quite a few people at the nearby station who were not in a good state so be aware, and walk around a different way if necessary.

The stay at this hotel was great. The wonderful breakfast (which was included in the price) was delivered to the room. You can rent bicycles nearby and get to the city center in 15 minutes.

The owner is very nice, speaks good English and would give a lot of local advice (restaurants, sites, transportation) upon request. Our room was extremely spacious, comfortable, and awesomely decorated!
Minor: need a short bus ride to reach city attractions, but this bus is very frequent and comfortable.

Excellent location just outside the city centre. Access to public transportation is very nearby. The apartment is huge and very well-maintained, it even has a working turntable with a great selection of vinyls. The breakfast selection is just outstanding, with plenty of options to choose from daily. It is delivered to your room, which makes it super special. The bathroom is very spacious with good shower temperature and water pressure. The bed is super comfy and huge. TV with cable and WiFi access. Minispli in the room. Most importantly, the attention and recommendations provided by the host are fantastic. He even helped with providing information on finding a medical doctor. We'll definitely go back next time in Vienna.
