Opened in autumn 2015, the Grand Ferdinand Vienna – Your Hotel in the city center is located directly on famous Ringstrasse boulevard in the center of Vienna. It offers a rooftop pool and 3 on-site restaurants. It is a 5-minute walk to the beautiful City Park and Vienna State Opera House and a 10-minute walk to St. Stephans’s Cathedral. Great location - we walked everywhere. Lovely stylish hotel with good restaurants and cafe. Great view from the rooftop too.

Fantastic location for access to Musikverein and museums
We wanted a twin room (I.e. 2 beds) but this was difficult for the hotel. We reached a compromise where we paid for a larger room and the hotel installed an additional temporary bed. We also thought the cost of the breakfast buffet is outrageous

Breakfast at 8th floor with view over the city.
The 1920's style light switches which were hard to use and noisy, even when a neighbour turned the switch at night time you can hear.
