Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Opera, Musikverein concert hall and most of Vienna’s amazing museums. Also lots of public transportation right nearby. The front desk is open 24 hour hours a day and there is a free espresso coffee machine in the lobby.

The property’s location was extremely central, which made our stay very convenient. We stayed in a Junior Suite; the room was spacious enough, well-equipped, and very clean.
While the location was excellent and the room itself was comfortable, our overall experience was severely affected by the hotel staff and management. Starting from the second morning of our stay, the lobby was abruptly closed with no prior notice. This was particularly problematic as the lobby offered tea, coffee, water, and beer, and there was no coffee machine in the room. One morning, when I went down early to get a coffee, I found the entire lobby sealed off with plastic sheets and was told that no coffee could be provided due to the closure. Even though my booking included breakfast, the breakfast staff initially refused to give me a coffee, and only after insisting was I allowed to enter and take one. The lobby remained inaccessible for the rest of our stay, which created continuous inconvenience.
On the day of our departure, we were staying in two separate rooms with two large suitcases. At 11:15, our door was knocked on very aggressively by hotel staff, scolding us for not having checked out yet, despite no courtesy call being made beforehand. I explained that there was nowhere to wait in the lobby due to the ongoing closure and that we had already called a car, but we were still rushed out. There was not even a proper restroom available; only after insisting was I directed to a back area filled with cleaning supplies. Throughout our stay, the staff were unhelpful, extremely rude, and far from what one would expect in a hotel of this calibre anywhere in the world.
If such a renovation or closure is planned, guests must be informed in advance, especially when it affects basic amenities. In such a case, compensation, price adjustments, or at the very least a gesture of goodwill would be expected. None of this was offered. Regardless of the room quality or the location, there are plenty of other hotels at this price point that treat their guests with professionalism and courtesy. I would not recommend staying at this hotel under this management.

The location was great, the staff at the reception were very sweet, and having coffee available all the time was really nice
The room we received was not the same as the one we saw and confirmed on Booking. We were given a room facing the inner part of the hotel, and even when I asked to change it, they said there were no available rooms. So don’t be misled by the photos. Make sure to request a street-view room after your reservation. And also breakfast is average
