The location was vey appealing. There were stores and restaurants all around the property. The staff were above and beyond any staff I have encountered. They went out of their way to try to help you with your needs.
Breakfast was alright but I have seen a lot better for the price of 24€ per person. The food offered was fresh but the variety needs improvement. The bathroom was in an awkward place. It was closest to the kitchen and farthest from the bedroom. We had only rented this room for one night. Otherwise I would have considered requesting a different room.

The room was spacious with a separate bedroom, a pull out sofa in the living room and a kitchen. The staff were excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate.
There were stairs (not a lot) and a very small elevator that made it inconvenient to get luggage to and from the room. Although we did not like this, the staff always came to the rescue to help us out. Eddy even stacked our luggage in the elevator pushed the floor level button and ran up the stairs in time to meet the luggage on the other side!
The property is older and, as expected, not everything is perfect. The shower gave us grief as we found we needed to aim the lower water stream towards the wall so that we wouldn’t have to clean up a big water mess all over the floor.

A Wonderful Stay and Exceptional Hospitality
We had a truly lovely experience at Living Hotel an der Oper. The hotel has a wonderful location, but what made our stay especially memorable was the kindness and professionalism of the staff.

Location, location, location! Coffee service, sparkling water ad lib.
Our apt had a bathtub elevated about15 cm over the bathroom floor. A potential risk for the seniors among us.

Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent response time.
Parking is expensive nearby. Difficult to access to elevator with storlley or wheelchair as there are 2x 3 stairs to overcome.

The location was good and the staff were very friendly.
It’s very old. Cleaning is bad - in one week they didn’t clean once even though we requested cleaning 3 times, they only changed the towels. No parking and there is no iron.

The rooms were amazing and so were the staff. It’s located very close to everything and within walking distance.
I only had two minor issues. The AC in the bedroom wasn’t as good, although the one in the living room was great. It’ll also be good to have some English movie channels available so the kids don’t get so bored.

Location is fabulous, easy walk into all the main attractions and close to Spar Goumet for getting snacks. The rooms are huge and pretty, and the air conditioning is a split system so works really well and stays cold, which was wonderful during the heat wave. Free coffee and sparkling water in the beautiful sitting area was a bonus too
Room cleaning is only upon request and you have to remember to ask for it the day before, annoying when you want a fresh room, for the price you wouldn’t expect this. The curtains didn’t cover the windows properly, massive gaps causing light to come in in the early mornings, no room service which I didn’t realise either. The bed was pretty hard which seems to be common across Europe, and the doonas are weird and tiny where they’re folded on top of the bed and don’t cover the whole bed. TV was removed from in front of the bed and only in the sitting area.
