Facilities and rooms are great, but I missed having more accessible extra facilities (fitness). Location was great too. Overall a pleasant stay and the staff was always helpful.
Breakfast was terribly overpriced.

Location: The location was good as it was not in the city center, but you could get to the center pretty fast by foot or public transport. You have near by groceries, coffee shops and restaurants (all type of cuisines. Room: Spacious, clean, a lot of room for luggage. One inconvenience was that the toilet was separated from the shower, and in the toilet a mini table would be useful. If you have a tv would be useful to have some international channels. For the entire stay the mini fridge was broken, but the staff was nice to keep some of the beverages in their fridge at the reception Nice pool table
fridge broken - but we found out after 1-2 days very slow elevator and sometimes the door was not opening/closing ok Tv only deutsche channels and the missing sink in the toilet, you had to wash hands in the 2nd bathroom I booked this hotel 1 year in advance by mistake, when i tried to get a refund booking.com said the hotel refused to issue a refund. Tbh i find it kind of disappointing to not be able to get a refund 1 year in advance, the hotel would had have more than plenty time to re book those days, well, i guess the process of refunding was way to difficult for someone either the hotel or booking

Everything was excellent, starting with the location (walking distance to the city center; also close to tram station and bus station), continuing with the cleanliness in the room and with the staff interactions. It was very nice we could leave the luggage at the reception before check in and after check out. The room was bigger than expected, very clean and with a good sound proofing (it was facing the street with the tram line). We appreciated the coffee machine, fridge and safe in the room. Also, we didn’t have a kettle in the room at first (to boil water for tea), but we appreciated we were quickly provided one by the person at the reception upon asking. All in all, we had a really pleasant stay here and we will surely choose this hotel for a future Vienna trip.

Pleasant
Located very close to the Rathaus, the Hofburg palace complex and Parliament. Easy walking distance to other attractions.
Allocated an upgrade on arrival but this was next to the road and the noise from the traffic was very loud. We asked to be moved and were allocated a rather small room facing the courtyard area but there was a strong smell from the shower drain. We told reception about this and they said they would get bathroom cleaned for us but when we returned that night the smell still remained al eit slightly less pungent. Incidentally the smaller room had the sink and vanity mirror in the main body of room not in the actual bathroom! Interesting. Please note that breakfast does NOT cater in any way for gluten or lactose intolerances. This does seem rather strange as there are many supermarkets selling a good range of gluten free breads and muffins in Vienna.

I love the location.
I was in a part that has still not been renovated. It seemed a bit shabby and the bathtub in particular was pretty grim.
