Great location. Incredible breakfast.
I loved my first visit there enough to book a night on the return. As our plans changed I tried to change the date by two nights. Though I know it was a non cancellable rate, I thought they would be kind enough to allow a date change.
Nope.
Despite having tons of availability on the other night, and with several days notice, they merely declined. I tried to reach out for explanation.
Nothing.
No explanation. No apology. Just declined. If I now weren’t stuck going back I would not have come back here. Whoever the manager was that was in charge of that does not understand customer service. The desk lady I spoke to agreed that she would have allowed it but was not authorized to do so.
Will not come back here and would caution anyone thinking of going here to avoid u less you have a very clear ability to cancel.

Second visit to our hotel and booked a superior suite as a treat for this time.
The central heating was on in the suite and the bedroom was uncomfortably hot during the night for a good nights sleep. Reported to reception in the morning that the radiator controller was hanging off the radiator - this was supposed to have been fixed but wasnt and second night was too hot for a good nights sleep. Reported again the next day on booking out and the receptionist said we should have requested a fan ! Expected better from this hotel.

Beautiful hotel , nice room and delicious breakfast Great area short walk to the old town pedestrian area. Many very nice small restaurants closeby . 5 minute walk to Karlskirche if you are planning to see Vivaldi 4 Season concert which was fantastic

Beautiful old building. Very central. Super friendly staff. Rooms were large and very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was incredible! Will definitely be back

Key card was too sensitive to my phone and kept failing. Constant trips to the front desk were a hassle.

Very Good
Location was great, just a 10-minute leisurely walk from the Hapsburg complex and central Vienna. My (junior suite) room was very comfortable and quiet with plenty of natural light, a comfortable bed, a sofa and a desk, fridge and plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped, with a large bath tub and overhead shower. Housekeeping did an excellent job at keeping the room clean and welcoming. Hotel staff were all extremely helpful and polite. The communal lounge / bar area was comfortable, restful and the drinks and snacks good quality & value. The breakfast room was orderly and tables were cleared efficiently and quickly - there was always a clean table to sit at and coffee choices were plentiful and all good quality.
The main thing both my friend and I didn't like is that in both our rooms - and presumably across the hotel - the English TV channels were few and the main one, BBC News, didn't work. We would have appreciated more English channels and certainly them all working.
We also found that some of the hot food in the breakfast room was cold or luke-warm, especially the bacon.
Finally and additionally, I would have preferred a kettle in my room rather than a coffee machine - I had to heat water for tea via the coffee machine, which was an unnecessary complication. A kettle in my room would have been helpful + a more plentiful and regular supply of milk - 2 small pods a days was only sufficient for 1 drink each morning.

Great location close to Karlplatz, within walking distance or short tram or tube rides to the main city locations and the excellent Naschmarkt eating area.
Excellent breakfast, and good bar also serving snacks.
Quiet, spacious comfortable rooms.
Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff who went out of their way to help us.
Towels weren’t as luxurious as in some establishments.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Classic Viennese style.
On our floor there was no view, it was blocked by the metallic box (airconditioning?) The room was more like 3-3.5 star rather than what you expect from a 4 star hotel, somewhat worn out. There was no signature or special touch in the room.
