Exceptionally located , walking distance to all places of interest, comfortable and elegant. Breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and everything functions to perfection. A home away from home at its best. Highly recommended.

We loved our hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. While I was sleeping I was dreaming of the breakfast :) The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, they gave us very helpfull recommendations. The hotel is very closed to touristic places and underground.

Fine Viennese hotel in a grand tradition. Excellent breakfast. Quiet and relaxing.
The room was overheated and temp couldn't be controlled. Work next door caused some power outages.

Outstanding value for money. A true 4-star hotel in classic Vienna style, just like we used to get decades ago. Impeccable cleanliness, spacious rooms, and an excellent breakfast. Very well located near Karlsplatz, with several metro lines nearby and the city center within walking distance.

Excellent service. Beautiful facility, very clean and contemporary but old-world in feeling. A pants press in the room, an electric shoe polisher in the main hall, and a wonderful guest bar in a Vienna style. Very close to everything in central Vienna. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Historic quality to the building. Size of rooms and quality.
Under renovation so there was banging an sawing from 8 am to 6 pm weekdays. When we arrived the elevator only went to the fourth floor but we were on the fifth floor and had to drag our bags up stairs. The elevator was fixed later that evening.

The suite on the sixth floor was Spacious and lovely. The staff was attentive and took care of everything we needed.

The location near the first district was lovely. The hotel is attractive with a lovely lounge area and excellent front desk and lounge staff. Beds were comfortable.
The rooms were a bit smaller than we are used to so placement of two suitcases was tight.

We were greeted at the door by Nikolai and our baggage swept away and brought into the hotel immediately; Rod at the front desk was friendly and provided recommendations for good nearby restaurants and activities; Sanjay made some great drinks at the bar and we had a lovely conversation. Had great and expansive breakfast options and was convenient to sites and transportation.

This is a classic and old-day style hotel. I like the comfort brought by this style. I can imagine how popular and stateful it was in its glory days.I believe it still retains its loyal customers today. The breakfast is superb.
