Nice location
For a 4 star hotel, air conditioning should be mandatory. We stayed here in august and we barely slept all night due to the hot weather.
Indeed, we did not check before booking if the room had air conditioning but I find it unacceptable to not have air conditioning in a 4 star hotel. Besides that, our room had such a small window, making it extra difficult to get some fresh cool air in.
The standard room is rather a 3 star level, nothing special about it.

The location is amazing! Fantastic view over Vienna from the terrace. Staff was super nice, and the park around the hotel is really pretty. Also saw a bunch of dogs, that's always a plus in my book!
There was a fan in the room, which is nice.
We paid quite a lot for the room (somehow that weekend it was almost 200/1 night without breakfast) and I just expected it to be nicer overall: Room was small and a little worn... missing tile in the shower, rug was threadbare in places, standing lamp was not straight. No place to put your suitcase (I couldn't find one of those stands hotel rooms usually have?). The (small) window was so high up there was no view to be had, which was unfortunate.
The bedding is all polyester which made it uncomfortably warm during the night - I felt that for that price I can expect cotton maybe?
I'm not sure if I'd stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, real palace. Authentic rooms with modern equipment, comfortable beds, shower. Big territory, lots of parking places, pets friendly. Very rich breakfast, and delicious dinner on menu

An exceptional view of Vienna with a huge park, impressive big rooms with high ceilings, nice big lobby and historically furnished beautiful library.
The green areas are big but pretty neglected, now flowers outside, no hedges, etc. Breakfast is very simple and expensive compared to other hotels with stayed at. It was not worth it but you have coffee and tea at your room. Noisy outside as also people not staying at the hotel may visit the park until very late in the morning. We had a ground floor room and could hear everything.

The hotel itself is a castle, great and magnificent. The panoramic view of Vienna is the main advantage of this hotel. The room was of two stores, very nice and pleasant. The breakfast was quite diverse and very nutritious. We liked the hotel and would probably stay there again when come to Vienna.
I didnt feel very welcome by the staff. They were more than neutral. I do understand that we didnt stay there for longer than one night but its not the reason for behaving like that. Usually the reception staff is very helpful, nice and hospitable. But here I didnt find anything similar. Unfortunately this is quite a minus for me when I choose the hotel.

Nice location, beautiful building, howereng they are missing basics.
Very loud music all night. Nobody warned us. Hot as a hell, no aircondition. We asked for 2 rooms close to each other, we didn't get them. One room wasn't clean and has disgusting smell. They change it after complain.
