The suite during the first stay was good and the staff were friendly
This is actually for our stay on Friday Aug 7. We arrived late at night and were leaving early in the morning. They put us in a suite where the suite doors were broken. The suite had not been used in a while (it had a strong smell). When we complained about the broken doors, reception asked if we could just put up with for one night. Moreover, the suite was on the 3rd floor, which requires one to carry luggage down a half flight of stairs unless you use one particular elevator - the staff did not bother to mention that we should use that particular elevator, so we carried 5 pieces of heavy luggage down the stairs. A simple heads up would have sufficed. They moved us to another suite (the same suite we stayed the first time) after we insisted on moving because of the broken doors and strong smell. Given many other suites were available, I don't understand why they would put us in a suite with a broken door and strong smell.

We were re-located to another ATH because the one we booked has some repairing . We arrived earlier and the hotel allowed us to check-in earlier. Thank you very much,

It's a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms amd good location.
The staff here is not helpful at all and it happens every time I stay here so it's not random They wouldn't tell you breakfast and checkout times, where's the restaurant and all the usual stuff you should be told at the check in. I find it rude.
Also breakfast is usually much better in other 4* hotels (pancakes and cakes dry and not fresh, cold meats not very good as well, I'd say 3.6). Not sure I will book it again tbh

The hotel facilities are exceptional: the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced in a hotel with very nice, clean sheets, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, fresh and large variety of everything for breakfast, good location, very large underground garage for big cars.

The reception team needs to be more professional and welcoming. During check-in, the staff member’s attitude and manner of responding made us feel unwelcome. On the day of check-out, I called reception to ask about the check-out time. After answering my first question, the staff member hung up while I was still trying to ask another question. I believe the level of customer service at reception needs significant improvement.

This hotel is a hidden gem . From the outside does look like it but inside everything is perfect. Rooms are fully renovated at high standard. Especially the rooms in the old building with double height ceiling.. just 10 minutes walk to city center .
The only negative is that breakfast is expensive. But as you walk out of main entrance to the right , there are two excellent breakfast places
