We have been guests to the Austria Trend hotels (Bosei and Doppio) for the past few years with our pet dog. In the last years, exclusively to Bosei. The first years everything was great, no issues, the cleaning level was admirable. However this year we were there twice and we were extremly disappointed in what we found and how the issues were "solved". In the past we were given rooms at different levels, however now the 3rd floor seems to be the only pet-allowed floor and the rooms are NOT clean. They have carpets on the floor and it's clear that some of the pet-guests are not trained and accidents happened on the floors. There would have been no issue if the rooms and the hallways would have been properly cleaned. However to our outmost disbelief, the rooms were full of stains and when we went to the front desk the first time they apologized and offered a breakfast since all other rooms were booked and switching was no available. And altough we appreciated the intention, we left the hotel before the breakfast. The 2nd time (3 weeks after the previous encounter), we were given the same conditions, we went to the concierge and the answer was " we can't do anything about it, since the carpets are HARD TO CLEAN". How is that my problem, when I pay the full price + 20 EUR pet tax to sleep in bad odors and stained carpets? Not to mention how unsanitary that felt for us, but what about our pet? What if it could have gotten sick from a previous pet who stained the carpets? We were unfortunately not pleased with how things were addressed, and we will not be returning as we felt unsafe due to sanitary reasons. I will mention that the front desk offered to send the cleaning staff to our room, but after being on the road for 10 hours the last thing we needed was waiting again for the room to be cleaned (again, since I assume it was cleaned before being given to us), so we declined.

the room was super clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. the check-in was very easy, and the restaurant had quite tasty food. overall, i think from a price perspective, it was quite fine in comparison to other hotels.
the prices for the items at the hotel were quite expensive, I thought it was unnecessarily high. For example, a cocacola (330ml?) from the minibar was like 5.80euro. the location was not so good, it is very quiet in the area, but there is absolutely nothing to do, so you really would need to travel/move.

I booked this hotel due to 24/7 recepcion. I arrived at 3am after 7h of driving and hotel was closed. I ringed like 20 times for 10-15 minutes. After that reception staff arrived. He loked more exhausted than me I think he was sleeping. I complained that this is not 24/7 service and instead of apologise he started to be ofensive and rude and extremly selfish to any complain. Zero soft skills for front desk. Whole situation ended by calling booking.com support and cancelation request from my side. I moved to clarion hotel - its close to that hotel and its 10 times better for same price 120€/night
