We had a wonderful stay at Almanac Palais Vienna and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel perfectly combines historic elegance with modern luxury, creating a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. The location is excellent, right by Stadtpark and within easy walking distance of Vienna’s main attractions, making it ideal for exploring the city.
The staff were outstanding: professional, friendly, and always happy to help with recommendations or arrangements. Service throughout the hotel felt personal and attentive without ever being intrusive.
The wellness area and pool were a real highlight after a day of sightseeing, and the overall ambience of the hotel made it a relaxing retreat in the heart of Vienna.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return on our next visit to Vienna.

I loved every detail about this stay! The hotel’s location is superb - right in the heart of the city yet pleasantly removed from the crowded downtown streets. The modern twist on a historic building was absolutely stunning. The staff were exceptional - warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit.
I had booked a duplex suite and was graciously upgraded at check-in to the same suite with an amazing view of the Stadtpark. The suite itself was beautiful and spacious, with supremely comfortable beds. The private sauna was the perfect finishing touch.The bathroom toilet had a built-in bidet (شطاف) - always appreciated.
I can’t imagine returning to Vienna and staying anywhere else!

Our Christmas and New Year trip to Europe was amazing, but this hotel made it unforgettable and truly set the tone for the entire year ahead. Beautiful and spacious rooms, great amenities and very tasty breakfast - the entire family was very happy!

We spent six wonderful nights at the hotel. Its central location is perfect—just steps away from all the main points of interest, right in the heart of the shopping, dining, and nightlife scene.
The room is beautifully designed with high-quality finishes; warm, inviting, and truly inspiring. The bathroom is spacious, pleasant, and relaxing.
Service is exceptionally professional, warm, and personal. The hotel also features a fantastic café and a very good restaurant.
Highly recommended—don’t miss it!
It truly is a pampering, pleasant, and comfortable hotel, and we didn’t find anything we didn’t like.

I LOVED the room, this hotel, and everything about my stay at Almanac Palais Vienna. Daily breakfast was wonderful (featuring a wide variety of options ala carte or buffet style offerings), and the Jr Suite was very spacious and well laid out (I was lucky enough to be given a corner suite). I enjoyed the tech tools that enable various light settings (in each room), the illy espresso pod machine (eco-friendly, not plastic capsules), the massive shower, the bed comfort, volume ceilings (15 feet?), zen vibe, the sheer shade (to diffuse natural light) and the blackout shade (both are push button operated, in each room), all of it....Fantastic. You can tell that the room's design details were really well considered and functionally, everything is very user-friendly. YouTube and Netflix on the remote if you choose to watch TV (in both rooms); strong wifi throughout. My particular room shared an entrance with another room (our suite's entry doors were accessed within another small entry foyer area, not the main hallway) so it was extra quiet (the suite had good sound proofing, in general). There was a heated floor in the dual sink area of the bathroom, adjacent to the shower. Good quality towels, slippers, robe, provided sleep masks, etc (though the blackout shades are perfect!). The hotel is in easy walking distance to world-class classical music venues, area shopping, restaurants, museums, cafes, public transport, etc. A grab & go market (Sparx) is a few blocks away as is an International Pharmacy (which I was glad to find carried Marvis toothpaste!). If anyone is interested in the hop on/hop off bus there is a stop directly next door (red line) though I didn't personally use it. I would not hesitate to stay here again; it was truly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced anywhere. The staff was wonderful - friendly, professional and helpful. In my room the water closet didn't get adequate heating (a bit chilly in the loo area due to the window, even if keeping the bathroom's glass doors open in the hope of getting the WC temp to one's set room temperature), it would have been great to have a heated floor in that part of the bathroom as well. I didn't particularly like the bathroom products (Damana) but that might be personal taste. I did hear some footsteps above me on my last night which was surprising (due to ceiling height) but it wasn't terribly loud. These things are very minor in the scheme of things since there is so much to love about the rooms, the stay, and the hotel itself.

Rooms are spacious, bed and bedding good quality and comfortable. Bathroom well designed with a large shower, excellent pressure and a separate toilet. The Spa area and gym amenities are very good.
It would be good to have a full length mirror in the room. Only complaint would be the time you had to wait for your vehicle.

Almanac is a lovely , updated hotel in a good location. It's close to the action, but far enough away to not have tourist crowds. The room was huge and the bed was larger than any hotel bed I have ever experienced. The rooms are full of electronic updates, and the overall impression is one of modern luxury. We opted for the included breakfast. We could order anything off the menu. There are many young people working in the hotel. They are all enthusiastic and helpful but just a little disorganized. I didnt find it to be a problem at all, I'd rather the atmosphere not be too stuffy. The Concierge was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. This is the place to stay if you want a contemporary luxury experience.
