Very nice location, super helpful host, and the rooms are very clean and well-prepared.

The hosts, Frau und Herr Grüner, were very nice and helpful and almost always around as they were staying at the ground floor apartment of the building. They keep the apartment very clean and changed our towels 3 times the week we were staying. They also have separated wast management with different bins for each type of wast, which the host collects each day. During a previous skitrip in Austria in another apartment, wast management was a big issue... At Trofana, the host has organized waste management perfectly. Its a pretty new apartment. The apartment was clean, with plenty of room for our family of 4 with 2 bedrooms and a sleep sofa in the living room. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is spacious. The kitchen has everything for dining at the apartment (including plenty of glasses and plates) except from an oven (there is microwave). The apartment isnt in the city center, which is a big plus if you stay in Sölden because of its busy evening-night live. So no issues from street/bar sounds. From the apartment you can walk to the city center and Giggijoch lift, skirental/depots, in a few minutes. Same with the busstops if you travel to Sölden by train/bus like we did or the skibus stops if you want to also visit the nearby skiarea of Obergurgl/Hochgurgl. Buses were free (even from Otztal till Sölden) with the pass we got once we booked. This apartment also offered us free skidepot near the Giggijoch gondel. So all in all an very good stay with a clean apartment, great hosts and within walking distance of everything you would need.

Good location, quiet street and close to ski lift, store. Owners are very welcoming and helpfull.
