Wonderful
It's much better to go to Schladming to ski with a car. Without one, if you are staying down in the town you need to use the bus to get to the ski lifts. The buses run either once every 30 min or hourly. With kids, bringing them and picking them up from the ski course, we sometimes missed a bus if they came back 5 min too late and then had to wait 40+ minutes at the bus stop.

It was a spacious apartment with a very well-equipped kitchen and a great dining area where we all could enjoy meals together. Very friendly and supportive service. Nice restaurant in the same building. Good location with a 10-minute walk to Planai Central ski lift.

The “family resort” vibe was fantastic - the property is in a secluded area by a river and feels like a mini village with a restaurant/bar onsite, a playground, an AMAZING freshwater pool (albeit cold - it is water fed from the river) and a neighborhood style layout to the vacation homes. The staff is lovely and always available to answer questions and give great advice on local activities. The ability to order fantastic breakfast croissants, pastries, and breads and have them magically delivered to your house before you wake up is something I already miss.
the turn into the property goes through the local beer factory property, which makes you wonder if you took a wrong turn, but if you follow the Google map directions, you quickly get into a secluded little paradise.
