Hotel Vitaler Landauerhof is a characteristic Alpine 4-star hotel located at 2953 feet above sea level in Untertal in the Dachstein-Tauern Region, only a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away from Schladming. There is a spacious spa area with saunas, Kneipp pool, a hot tub and an infrared cabin, a gym, tennis courts (lessons available), and a heated, seasonal outdoor pool with a view of the deer enclosure. Various beauty treatments and massages are offered. Hotel Vitaler Landauerhof’s terrace offers scenic views of the Dachstein. The restaurant serves a 4-course dinner or à la carte dishes and offers a wide range of wines. There is also a bar and a conservatory. In winter, a cross-country ski run starts right outside. A ski slope leads directly to the Landauerhof. Ski tours and guided mountains tours are available on request. Hiking and mountain bike trails start nearby as well. In summer, the use of the cable cars is included in the price (with a 2-night minimum stay). The Schladming Dachstein Sommer Card is included in the room rate from the first night and gives special discounts on many activities and entrance fees in the area. Our hotel has a charging station for e-cars from MOON Power.

I've had a perfect stay at Hotel Vitaler Landauerhof! I had booked a suite and the room was very spacious. It included a sitting area and a couch, as well as a balcony with a lot of sun during the day/afternoon. The hotel is located in a quiet area and I could even sleep with the windows open, but slept like a baby! The hotel has it's own pool and I loved to go for a swim. The hotel provided me with a bathrobe, included in the room. During the summer the "sommercard" is included, which gave me free access to cablecars etc. I had 'halbpension', which meant that I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food is very good! A large breakfastbuffet, and the dinnerbuffet was if possible even more outstanding. But the best of all was the very, very friendly staff!! Everyone was so forthcoming and it felt like they really wanted to make my stay a very happy one (in which they succeeded). When I return to Schladming (and I probably will), then I will definitely stay here again!
Nothing. To me it was a perfect stay! It might be good to know for other travellers that this hotel is not located in the city of Schladming, but in a small town called Untertal. Schladming can be reached by bus (busstop in front of the hotel) in 10-25 minutes, but you can also walk via a lovely path called the "wilde wasserweg" and that took me only 35 minutes so I actually preferred doing that.
