We spent one night at the Leonardo Hotel in Salzburg City Centre and were truly impressed. Our room exceeded expectations—it featured a spacious balcony, a walk-in closet, a convenient kitchenette, one and a half bathrooms, and a large, comfortable bed. It felt more like a suite than a standard hotel room. Breakfast was another highlight, with an incredibly varied and delicious selection. The hotel’s location was also a big plus—within easy walking distance to the Old Town, making sightseeing very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that combined comfort, quality, and location. We would gladly return.

Convenient location close to the city centre and yet still a little off the main tourist routes. The centre can be reached via a pedestrian tunnel in about 5 minutes. Breakfasts are fine.
Advantage is the possibility of parking directly at the hotel, although there is a little narrower entrance to the garage, but it can be managed with a larger car.

The location is excellent, 5 min walk from the old town. The underground parking is convenient and the price is better than in the parking lot next door. The breakfast is fantastic! The room was big enough to sleep for 4 of us.
During our stay there were some roadworks front of the hotel, it made a bit difficult and muddy to navigate front of the hotel. On the corrdor there was a troly to collect used bed clothes and a mopping bowl. It should have been hidden for the night. In the bathroom some bits and peaces would need some retouch, for example one of the lid that covers the water tube coming out from the wall was missing. The shower cabins door had also a missing peace.

We arrived late and left in the morning but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the "double" rooms we had book had king beds. We booked two rooms for four people. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and had air conditioning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk to old town.
There is construction happening outside the hotel which made parking a little tricky but otherwise we were very satisfied.

Nice and very friendly staff at reception.
Old A/C unit - it was almost impossible to switch it on as the unit is so old and nonfunctional. Eventually we called the guy from reception to help us and he managed to force it to work. The filters of A/C were not cleaned and made us feel ill in the morning. Although we booked the room for 3 people, we only had towels for two. The shower cubicle not clean.

The only thing I would say is that there was some building works going on in front of the hotel. This did not impact our stay at all, but just didn’t look so nice.

The location is good, a bit outside the historcal city center, but just 2 minutes walk. The hotel room was good, normal..breakfast was ok, with many options, however they seem to be overwhelmed
I didn't like the fact that the parking was fully booked and i don't remeber beeing informed that we need to make any reservation, so we had to park outside the hotel...
