Lovely quieter surroundings with great outdoor garden & patio areas - but only a 15-20 min walk in to heart of old town - and only a 5-10 min walk to some nice bars & restaurants. The best thing about the hotel was the AMAZING breakfast and the decor and furnishings everywhere were lovely
The staff were friendly at breakfast but did not always remember to bring coffee when asked. The bar staff were not as courteous and did not even offer an apology when they gave us the completely wrong bill for 2 drinks

The rooms and the common spaces- particularly the rooftop terrace and the garden courtyward were absolutely beautiful! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!

The hotel is very good, a beautiful garden area with loungers and chairs to relax, the bar and restaurant beside the garden are very comfortable and calming. The staff were very keen to help us, not just about the hotel but also the surrounding areas and what was good for us to explore. Especially Stefan in the bar, who took the time to explain the local area and found us a wonderful lake 30 minutes from the city, we had a great day there. We also found the bus to take us there was free when staying in the hotel, an added bonus.
Salzburg is beautiful and only a 10 minutes comfortable stroll from the hotel.
We eat in the restaurant once for dinner and that was very average and quite expensive. Although the breakfasts were very good, a great selection and variety.
