Breakfast was fine. I had not realised when booking that the location and the main purpose of Sankt VIrgil did not match the purpose of my visit. It is good for seminars. I was coming for the Salzburger Festspiele. It lies outside town in a residential area and is remote from public transport stops. Did not feel safe to an ageing female traveller to return at night.
The location: too far from the historic town. I didnt feel safe to return at night. The main purpose: to host seminars etc did not meet my purpose. I cant blame the hotel. I made the wrong choice.

Disappointing
The hotel is also some kind of university or education building which gave it a bit of a dormitory feeling. That is not a problem, as it was clean and had a little balcony with a green view.
The cost of a one night stay for a dormitory was a bit too much. Furthermore the breakfast could have had a bit more variety, not only eggs and sandwiches. The location is pretty far from the city centre.

Nice staff, free parking, decent breakfast. The bus stop is a short walk away and the bus takes you straight to the city center (you can buy tickets at the reception).
The hotel is overpriced and it looks slightly outdated. I was not able to selectively turn lights on and off (either all of them were on or off).
