The hotel is in a fantastic location. We could walk to all of the Salzburg sites or take the bus, for which the concierge printed out free tickets and gave us directions. We also loved their restaurant and beer garden, which was fabulous. We ended up having dinner or beers there all three nights. We had two rooms that were both generously-sized. There was a sofa in each, and the rain shower in the bathroom was wonderful!
I would not recommend heading out the hotel and going to the right after dark. There were some homeless people sleeping in the tunnel. Nothing that the hotel can do about that, but if you want to stay in the city, then you just need to be aware.

The location is good, 10-15 minutes walking to the city centre.
The staff is nice and the rooms are very clean.
The restaurant is a good option.
It’s too expensive, and it’s not a proper four star hotel.
The entrance is nice, but if you are allocated, like me, in what it seems is the old part, the elevator is very old, the rooms are in what looks like a block of apartments, not a hotel.
I was in a four bed room, it said four beds when I booked but one of them was like a sofa. The room is small, but well, we are four, it’s ok. But the bathroom is very small too and the door made a horrible sound every time you tried to close it… The furniture and the carpet looked very old and used too.
It’s just not what you think you’ll find in a four stars hotel, at least in Austria.

Great location, kind staff, special thank to Lilla at the reception, and to everybody who's working there and made us smile. There is a restaurant in the hotel, with cool staff and traditional food.

Our room was exactly as pictured online. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a big walk-in shower and good toiletries.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We were offered a choice of a room on the 4th floor with a city view or a 1st floor quiet room. We opted for quiet. It
was peaceful.
The location is great, approx 10 minutes walk from the rail station on a hot day. Similar distance to the Mirabelle gardens and 20 minutes to Salzburg old city.
