Adorable historic hotel right in the heart of Salzburg ! Great location to walk to everything , very clean , A/C worked well to keep us cool in our room and bed was comfortable as well ..very friendly and helpful staff.. only ate breakfast one morning at hotel .. it was fresh , had a variety of breads, pastries , some cheeses/meats and beverages ... the breakfast staff was very nice to offer to make us scrambled/ fried eggs since vegetarian choices were a bit limited for us on the buffet , it was nice to get the extra protein since we were not going to eat the meats offered :) no complaints , it was a great stay and was very happy I booked here !
everything was lovely and would book again if we visit Salzburg !

Breakfast wasn’t included however I did pay one morning and it was just ok however nothing else was open.
I did ask for an iron and they must only have one so I don’t get until the next day and I had to go down and get it. Thought it would have been a nice touch to bring it to my room.

Very comfortable bed, clean and spacious room. Quiet inside even with lively street outside. Onsite cafe restaurant with excellent food, very popular. Central location within walking distance to most of the old town.

Hotel Elefant's location is unbeatable, the heart of the old quarter but our rooms were quiet. The spotless rooms were comfortable and the staff wonderful.
If I had to make one small suggestion it would be to have coffee available. The restaurant was closed for breakfast one of our days and there was a little scramble for coffee.

Nice hotel in a fabulous location close to all the sights, bars and restaurants. Reception staff a bit ‘stern’, could have smiled a bit more. Breakfast not included and very expensive at 25 euros per person so we gave that a miss. Nice and clean and comfortable, overall a good stay.
Breakfast very expensive, some reception staff don’t appear very friendly.

The location was fantastic. In the middle of old town.
I got a room on the 5th level. It was very hot there and the AC was noisy. I had to change the room.

Every thing about this hotel is top notch.
The hallways are rich with history. The restaurant on site has a great chef. Very nicely appointed rooms.

Breakfast was great - staff very courteous.
Rooms did not live up to the price. Appeared incomplete as if the budget constraints existed. Expected much more for the cost. Location was great - made up for the lack of furnishings. If doing over, I would have pick a more complete hotel at a higher price for the full experience. Cleanliness was good, but over all feel was an overpriced discount hotel with a great location.
