Great location, 10 minute walk from downtown. Breakfast was very good, had a lot of food variety and everything was delicious.
The rooms were basic at most 3 stars and there was a weird smell. I did not find the bed and the bedding comfortable. Wish there were fresh fruit options at breakfast.

Close proximity (walking distance) to the gardens and to old town; cafes and restaurants nearby; helpful reception team and were very kind to make a plan for parking for our group's motorcycles (6) at a reduced fee; standard rooms and comfortable; small bathroom. we took breakfast out in nearby cafes as the hotel offering didnt look vvery exciting and expensive.
Beds were narrow (even the double bed); no hanging hooks for jackets, towels, etc.

We were travelling with our teenage son so the family room was perfect and with a balcony too. The kettle to make a cup of tea and the coffee machine were lovely. The room had air conditioning if needed. The staff were so welcoming. We didn’t have breakfast there but there are cafes a short walk away and the markets on Thursday morning just around the corner were lovely. It was great to walk by the river (we love early morning walks) and take in all the beauty of Salzburg with everything it offers. We also chose this hotel as it is around a 15 minute very easy walk with luggage to the train station

The staff was OUTSTANDING. Gave us great suggestions for dining, helped us get transport, stored our luggage for us the last day. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and spacious.
Only thing - and I realize it is minor - but for slightly older folks, the side of the tub to step in is very high!
