Excellent location to all attractions. Good breakfast
Poor room. The Deluxe double room was more basic. No air con, just a fan so good luck in heat. No hospitality but tea bar some floors down. Soap dispenser broken, no tissues in holder, fan in bathroom noisy and erratic and whole room needs a refurb

Perfect location close to old town and museums. Hotel is very old but very quit and comfortable, room is big, clean. Hotel staff was very helpful with all of my question

Great location and easy to walk to places. The hotel provided a big fan to cool our room, which was appreciated greatly. The shower was nice and everything was quiet for us. Room was cleaned at least once while we were there. The staff helped us scan and print documents that we needed for work, going out of their way for the task.
The breakfast was super expensive: we only did it once, and that was out of curiosity.
I overheard other guests complain about their room being close to the elevator with noise.

Great location and wonderful breakfast. Fantastic views of the fortress from our terrace and skylight.
Our suite was quite hot. There was a portable air conditioner that helped, but couldn’t quite cool the whole of both levels. One of the beds in the loft area was very, very firm. It was fairly uncomfortable for our teen daughter.

The location is terrific. We loved the view of the fortress and the outside terrace.
The weather was quite hot the first day we were in Salzburg. The hotel does not have (nor advertise to have) air conditioning, and it was quite warm in our room that first day. They did provide a small portable unit in the room, which was helpful. After that, we slept with the terrace doors and the window open and it was much more pleasant.

I liked the big room, recently remodeled bathroom and windows that can be opened. Wonderful breakfast! Short walk to see everything.
It was hot outside and no airconditioning but there was a fan in the room and we opened the windows.

Room very hot even with air-conditioning which didn't circulate very far away from the free standing unit
